ArizOTA Legislative Updates with our AOTA RA Rep

Learner Outcomes

  1. Participants will be able to explain the purpose of the ArizOTA legislative committee
  2. Participants will be able to discuss one legislative goal the committee has worked on this past year

Abstract:

The presenters will explain the legislative issues ArizOTA has worked on over the past legislative cycle, and will, through a panel discussion, identify goals to guide the committee in the upcoming legislative cycle.

 

Biography:

Dr. Dahl-Popolizio is a 30-year Occupational Therapist with a Doctorate in Behavioral Health. Director of Research at A. T. Still University OT Program with clinical experience across settings; research focuses on OT on interprofessional primary care teams, telehealth, population health management, and gamification; served on ArizOTA Legislative Committee since 2013.

Dr. Rogers is the Associate Dean for the College of Health and Human Services at Northern Arizona University. She also serves as the Arizona Representative to the AOTA Representative Assembly.
