Learner Outcomes

  1. Understand the self-assessment resources that are available to occupational therapy practitioners who wish to serve in a mentor role
  2. Identify 2 goals or activities that will support a mentor's skill development

Abstract
This course is for occupational therapy practitioners who are interested in stepping into mentor roles or furthering their skills as a mentor. The course will review 4 valid mentor self-assessments, provide an indepth review of one assessment, and provide working examples of how to build mentor skills based on the assessment.
 

Biography
Sara Stephenson is an associate clinical professor with NAU’S OT program and serves as the capstone coordinator.
